On June 4th, Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, accompanied by Shi Taifeng, Secretary of the the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Party committee, and Xian Hui, chairman of the autonomous region, visited the First People's Hospital of Yinchuan to inspect the progress of the construction of medical imaging partnership. At the scene, they listened to Ningxia's work report on "Internet + medical health"indicating that “Internet+” had large potential in improving people’s livelihood.
Wingspan’s Medical Imaging Partnership in Ningxia is based on the First People's Hospital of Yinchuan City. With the aid of cloud medical imaging diagnosis platform, it covers all communities and townships in the whole region, realizes tele-diagnosis and promotes the integration of high-quality medical resources from top to bottom. Li Keqiang communicated online with community doctors and Beijing experts who jointly diagnosed and encouraged them to serve as health guardians for people. He also mentioned that "Internet +" should be guided by Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics, adhere to the development thought with people centered, and promote the "Internet +" action in line with the deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, so that those grassroots and people living in impoverished areas could get access to better public services more conveniently, thereby ensuring resources allocation equally. He hoped that Ningxia could take the lead in the area of "Internet + health care" as a pilot to bring more benefits to people and adjacent regions.
“The Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Development of Internet + medical health" was recently released, pointing out that medical institution could establish the Internet information platform with qualified organizations to carry out telemedicine, health consultation and health management services, and further to promote effective communication among hospitals, medical staff and patients. In the meanwhile, the medical imaging partnership should actively use Internet technology to facilitate medical resources integration from top to bottom, information exchange and sharing, efficient business collaboration, and better services of appointment, two-way referral, telemedicine, etc. All above could promote orderly hierarchical diagnosis and treatment pattern featuring "grass-roots examination, superior diagnosis".
Wingspan, as a leading enterprise in the field of medical radiology, has been in the forefront of responding to national policies. The construction of Ningxia’s Medical Imaging Partnership is to form an efficient and professional connection among grass-roots hospitals, patients and experts, and to provide innovative imaging examination and diagnosis services for grass-roots hospitals and patients. On the one hand, it can alleviate the lack of image diagnosis professionals in grass-roots hospitals by training young and grass-roots doctors. On the other hand, it can also facilitate patients through addressing the problems of difficulties and inaccessibility in seeking medical treatment and truly put graded diagnosis and treatment into practice, improve the effectiveness and accuracy of diagnosis, and rationally optimize the allocation of resources.
The construction of the medical imaging partnership has played an essential role in the Wingspan multi-dimensional ecosystem and the achievement of which has received much praise from national leaders. In the future, Wingspan will proactively respond to the call of the state, stand on the basis of reality and take “hitchhike” of medical imaging partnership to strive for the objective of “Healthy China”.
